Said to be GM's updated version of the 350HP/327 cam. If you're stuck on factory cams there's also the GM 330HP/350 cam that's somewhat close to the Isky above. Here's a link to the Cam & Lifter Kit, as you'll need Lifters too Should work just fine with your existing valvesprings I've used it in a lot of applications like this with a lot of luck. This one isn't too wild, but it's going to maximize torque production over a very wide range. I'm going to recommend the Isky 201264/271-12 I highly recommend running something like Gibbs oil to keep those lifters alive.īased on what you're telling me, we definatley want a dual pattern cam with more duration on the exhaust side to compensate for the poor flowing exhaust port on wedge style GM heads. I totally understand you wanting to stay with the budget flat tappet cam, just know going in that you're playing with fire a bit with the current oil formulations. That's pretty low and limits cam size a bit. Ok - so with a 67cc chamber and a "targetmaster" piston (-12cc), you have compression that's around 8.6-1.
